As you will see from my other posts,I have a variety of fish including a ghost knife tail and gouramis which I have learnt will grow massive and need a new tank asap. I have seen a tank that I like - its hexagonal, holds 225 liters. Once I get my new tank, how exactly do I go about migrating the fish into it safely? I assume I put the existing water in and add treated water to it but any advice would be great as I dont want to lose any of my beloved creatures. Also. as explained previously, my ghosknife tail has a curled tail, I think from what Ive been told, because the current tank is too small. Anyone know if this will correct itself once I move him and he has loads and loads of room. Does it matter of the new tank is shaped rather than long depsite the literage?

225L isnt gonna be big enough for the ghost long term, what are the dimensions of the tank?

Hi,
Thanks for the speedy reply. Just found the dimensions:

The glass is 57cm tall but with the lid on its about 54cm viewable, each glass panel is 29cm wide. the diameter of the tank lid and unit base from straight edge to opposite straight edge through the centre is 71cm

I really do hope this is big enough as I havent room for anything bigger.
