Im pretty sure their compatable but I just want to be sure. I just bought 1 oscar 2 jack dempseys and a clown loach all about the same size. Their all about an inch and a half to two inches. One jack is chasing around the other but nothing to serious so far. I guess they are establishing territory right now. Ohh and are they easily noticeable on the sex yeat at that size? Almost forgot, they're in a 65gal tank.

Well sorry to tell you but that tank is overstocked. I know it doesnt look like it know but oscars will reach 12-15 inches Jack dempseys up to 12 inches. The Oscar will outgrow the JD's and Clown Loaches. The loaches are an apsolute NO NO with these fish you could easily get away with the two JD's or just one oscar, id recommend you take the clown loach back and either the JD's or the oscar.
