Hi

I just got a new fluval roma 125 its got 2 20w t8,s one PowerGlo & one AquaGlo i understand thats 1.2watts per gallon wich is low? I wonderd what you would recomend to get this tank up to plant growing level say 2 watts per gallon?

I have seen interpet t5 compact 24w daylight plus

Or i can add in anouther 20w powerglow?

What would you recomend converter etc?

I dont know if its an idea replaceing hagens bulbs with arcadia's? but there only 18w at 24 inch long are they any dimmer?

the arcadia wont fit in the fluval ballasts. The additional lighting is up to you what brand & typr you go for, arcadia would be first choice. A 24w will give you 2WPG but then you will need to be thinking about Co2 because the high light drives plants but there wont be enough co2 to keep them 'driving' it will run out then algae will use the light.

You can still grow plants with the lighting you have like

java fern
anubias
vallis
mosses
floating plants
