Hi guys!!!!! my new 35gal tank is coming soon! and i was wondering what i would need to add to create a community tank with what i have got?(listed below in my sig)

I am looking at a couple more neons and zebras and would like to get some shrimp in there too!!! so what would you recommend?

does the inch rule apply to US or UK gal?? and doe inches apply to shrimp or do you treat them diffently?

Cheers for now!!

PS the clown loach i am looking to re home him!! or looking at getting a new tank thats even larger in the future!! my dad is looking at getting a 90 gal so he said he will take him!! be sad to see him go! he is so strange!!

p.p.s when create hiding places what do you use? that is safe for anyone to hide??? ie the shrimp

The inch per gallon rule generally applies to U.S. gallons.

So are you transfering the fish from your 10 gallon over to your new tank?

Ya what? . Lol sorry couldn't resist :D. Good luck with the new tank :).

Tbh i don't bother with the inch per gallon rule, more if it looks overstocked, it is (except with cichlids where it is easy to overstock)... Just make sure you always have more than adequate filtration and you should be fine :D.

i am getting an ehiem 2012 filter for it and i might add my small fluval 1 to increase the filterage later but i think the ehiem is by far more than enough!!!

Cheers
