New Tank Help :)

I just bought a new 50 gallon aquarium...this is it: http/phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/for/2438132677.html

I was wondering if anyone can help me? I want sand and not gravel, but can anyone could help me with ideas for the setup?

And I also need help with stocking... I definately want guppies and mollies and shrimp but I don't know what else to get...what other fish are compatible with guppies, mollies, and shrimp? And how many of each should I get?

Visit your local LFS to get a better idea of whats available in your area, takes some notes of names etc ad then we can try to help advise you on fish that you actually like rather than our suggestions, the list is pretty long lol
