So my last breed of danios is finally out the gate (27 danios total) i kept 14 (one died in the move between tanks)

Sold the rest, moved the 14 to my established 40 gallon.

Ive decided im getting a little tired of the whole, one tank for the hatching one tank for the breeding then sell the rest. Ide like to establish this tank now, and keep it that way.

I want a good mix of bottom feeders that will go well with with other community fish. gotta put time into what i want to stock with.

Im doing the "add and wait" method of fishless cycling right now...

Here we go! (sorry for some of the crap on the glass, but setting up a tank aint clean!)

Thats all for now folks. also the blue backround will be hitting the road, its just i attached it using that sea view liquid stuff so its seemless, so its a bit messy so ive been avoiding it cause im just like that.

Also because thats live substrate, (the stuff you buy with the water already in it and my LFS keeps theirs cold and gets it local) im thinking of a little actual planting along the front bottom, little riccia or java moss (of course ill add minior DIY co2 system)

Neither riccia or java moss need substrate AFAIK - just attach them to wood or slate

good to know..... good to know indeed...

The main reason why i said it though was because the live substrate is jam packed with all the minerals the plants need to grow.

how do you get such good pics? mine arent nearlly that good.
nicwe tank also :good:

Those pics are garbage, one of my photographer friends is going to be hooking me up with some underwater camera business... should be awsome once i stock the tank... if i can do it right without scaring them i should get some extreme close ups.
