Hi guys i am getting a new tank next week before my angel fish start out-growing the tank they are in. Im getting a juwel rio 125 and it comes with a juwel Bio Compact filter including pump set 600 and i just wanted to know if you guys thought that filter was a good or not as i would need to get a new 1 before i set up the tank if it isnt good enough ready for my 1st ever fishless cycle... Dont want to start cycling it and find out its no good and have to restart the cycle  lol

Cheers for any advice you can offer me :)

I think ive heard theyre not that great. Is it internal?

Im not really the right person to suggest a filter but defiantly look at external filters.

Jewul internal filters are good filters in adequately stocked tanks. They aren't brilliant if you are wanting to overstock

I never had a prob with mine, I removed it in the end simply as I wanted to utilize they space it takes up

I didnt even realise it was an internal filter i thought it was external beens as it says it comes with a pump lol... Thanks for the info :) im not planning on over stocking it just yet i want to get some really nice fish but want to introduce new fish every 3 or 4 months or so that way i can get used to looking after them properly and they can get used to theyre home and new tank mates im a complete novice at fish keeping so its going to be a long but FUN learning curve. :D
