Hey every1 im new to this forum so hi!, i used to have a tropical fish tank which i kept for about 3 yrs, during this time i had neons, swortails, mollys, silver shark, danios and a big plec! (not all at da same time lol). i just got a job in a pet shop and are fascinated by tropical fish again so i went out tonite and bought a 60x30x35cm tank
can u tell me how many gallons this is and how many fish i can put in it??? by fish i mean probably small tetras
also if u have any ideas of any comunity tanks i cud try such as what fish go wiv what then it is much appreciated!!

thanks

I make that 63 ltr=13 UK gallons,=16 US gallons, not counting displacement (gravel, ornaments etc). Should be good for c. 7 platy-sized fish, or 10-15 of the smaller tetras.

if you go onto the practical fishkeeping site they have lots of useful calculators

not suggesting your maths is wrong dwarf!

dwarfgourami's math is spot on. :good:

FYI...
Just multiply 60x30x35 and then divide by 1000 for liters.
If you measure the tank in inches, then you can multiply the dimensions and divide by 231 for gallons.
