Any ides or advice on fish? :)
we were thinking of neon tetras, female fighters, guppies, 2 little corys and mabye some green tiger barbs (?)
and then the whole clean up crew, shrimps and snails :)

Thanks! :good:

Aye, thats the answer I was hoping for, a new tank not listed in the signature :good: :hyper:

Guppies and Tiger barbs as a rule aren't a great idea, the Tiger Barbs are proliffic fin nippers, and could well pull the tails of male guppies given half a chance  The Female fighters can supposidely be nippy also, though they aren't too bad IME...

Your corries, tetras and barbs all need a minimum group size of 4, with 6 being perferable. Guppies need to be kept as all one gender, or two females to each male, to avoid females being pestered too much... ;)

Other than that, the initial list does not look too bad. Three species may clash with each other, so you need to either loose the nippers, or the fish prone to nipping, but otherwise, all fine in that regard  When you've decided, it's just selecting the final numbers and avoiding overstocking to finish off the list :good:

All the best
Rabbut

EDIT to add, also decide what to do with teh filter. Out of the box it's a death and money trap relying on chemical media, not biological filters

Thanks so much! Just what I needed! :D
Quick reply! :good:

Don't forget to address the dodgy filter supplied with the tank as standard though before starting your fishless/fish-in cycle and stocking the tank though.....

Oh, and another question. Anything needed for a freshwater clam? :)

Asside from being a filter feeder, I know little about them  I'll leave that one to someone that does know them :good:
