I got some of those plants that you have in there. Mine never stay down in the gravel. Nice set up by the way.

Excellent tank. Love the rocks and the anarchis, looks great :good: . How long did it take you to get all the anarchis that tall?

atm

When I bought my anarchis it was that tall already.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Have you got the fish yet? I really like all of the rock caves. They're great! :good:

no fish yet, picking them up on friday I hope, tank should be cycled (will be using a filter that's been running on another tank for over a year once I get the fish) so I hope I don't have any problems there and thanks, I worked hard on those caves, really took a lot of moving around to get them the way I wanted them but they turned out EXACTLY how I had hoped.

I bought the anacharisis and it was all about as tall as the red knob on the heater, that was 4 days before I took those pictures, of course this used to be a planted tank so I've still got 3.25wpg of lighting overtop of the tank (will be changing once I dig up my lower wattage strip light b/c the buesheri don't like bright lighting) w/ a flourite base underneath the crushed coral. I'm on vacation currently and I'm almost scared to see how overgrown the anacharis will be once I get back.

can I ask what the fern type plant is that is coming out of the cave?

Merry Xmas!

greg

The fern is called African water fern, Bolbitis heudelotii, I love the stuff I have some in my 55g SA tank (fits better in here w/ the african theme (though not sure of anacharis origins)) which is where I stole this little piece from, can't wait to see how it grows in the harder water.

ah right! It was just the way it was rolled up. I have never seen bolbitis like that. It looks really good :good: Might get myself some for my tang tank!

Really nice fish! I should really think about those for my empty 20 gallon, we'll see. I really like the moss stuff on the wood and rocks in the first pics :good:

Nice tank! Reminds me of a Kelp forest with those tall plants scattered! LOL, I love the "Domestic Violence" picture, great action shot. :good:
