I currently have a 55 gallon tank with
-5x Clown Loach
-5x Tiger Barb
-2x Kribensis Cichlid (M&F)
-2x Dojo Loach (M&F)
-2x Mickey Mouse Platy (M&F)
-1x Pterygoplichthys scrophus (chocolate Pleco)

I am going to get rid of the tiger barbs within the week...

wanted to know if i could fit 4 silver dollars and 2 angels in with them or if that would make me over stocked?
Thanks for any response

definitely not. also, the clown loaches will outgrow your tank. don't know about the pleco though.

from doing lots of reading about them many people say minimum tank for silver dollar is 48X18X18
this is due to the fact that they can grow as large as a dinner plate
so i would advise against getting them unless your tank meets those requirements hun

You are officially overstocked with the clown loaches alone as they requre at least 75 gallon tank when they start to grow bigger moving them when they reach about 5" would be highy recommended

Angel fish should be ok as long as your tank is deep enougn 18 " but you will have to be very careful as they will get very agressive when spawning and could kill the platys or damage any other fish it would be a case of trial and error in adding these as some are quite peaceful

ATM my clowns are all less than 3" what i've read says that they grow less than an inch a year is this true?...(whenever i say anything about havin the clowns i have to tell this story) i am going to move out of my parents house in less than a years time, when i will be upgrading to at least a 125 gallon tank...if i cannot get a new tank (larger than 75 gallon) i know a LFS owner who can and is willing to take them...

My tank is 48x13x20, with the angels i would be looking for 2 females...

Also if not these fish then what would work well? some schoolers that stay near the top maybe?
Thanks for the replies
