well I've had a really hard morning at work..... browsing t'internet and researching fishes!

i've only changed my mind about 14 million times on this but I think my new stocking lists for my tanks will be as follows:-

big tank - 350l
Red Tiger Oscar
Parrot Fish
2x firemouth chiclids ??? possibly, slightly concerned about overstocking with these two in though

medium tank - 120l
2x female & 1x male cockatoo dwarf chiclids
2x blue gouramis
4x dwarf gouramis
spotty catfish
royal plec (if he gets massive he can go in the bigger tank, but he's only 3/4 inches now so don't want him in with Oscar)

little tank - 90l
2x african dwarf frogs
6-8 harlequin rasbora's
4x neon tetra's
6x cory's
3/4 platy's
3/4 molly's

need to have a closer think about the last 3 in the little tank tho, decide exactly which ones.

whats everyone reckon?

blue gouramis can be a bit aggressive (mind you, in my experience so can dwarf gouramis).

If you get dwarf gouramis, try to get either all males or a male and 3 females.

the blue's I've had for nearly 4 yrs now, never had a problem with them at all, they've never picked on another fish, they chase each other a little but have never caused any damage and neither of them have ever shown any signs of being stressed/poorly so I reckon they'll be ok.

looking at the cockatoo's it say's they're mildly agressive so they need something that will be able to stand up to them so I thought the gourami's would be ok.

I've got 1 honey dwarf at the moment will be getting another honey and 2 blue dwarf's, can't think if my current one is male/female ?? will check when i get home and bear your comments in mind tho :D

cheers
