Hi there

Im just recently bought a Roma 200 fish tank, complete with External filter, heater and sand with Cycle, Filter Start and Tetra safe liquids and
I was just wondering if anyone could give me advice on what kind of setup to have. i wont be putting and fish in it untill the cycle is complete
and my water is perfect.

if anyone could give advice that would be very greatfull

That would depend on your own tastes.....big/small fish......predatory/community...planted/sparsley planted...I'm sure someone will be laong shortly who can advise you better.

I am in the process of making the change from Community to Predatory hopefully, just gotta empty my tank of community stock which are advertised on the classifieds on here if u r interested.

Good Luck with whatever you choose to do.

Well im kinda looking for a bit of a mix maybe a few community midsize (not to big) and some nice peacefull ones with a bit of colour

You won't find very much praise for anything claiming to have beneficial bacteria around here.

Anyway, follow the beginners resource centre first.

You'll want a bottle of ammonia - anything saying 9.5% ammonia, 90.5% water will be fine. Use the aquarium calculator to find the right dosage for your tank. Get yourself an API freshwater test kit too.

Then sit back and rest for a few days while nature begins it's ride through your filter...
