agree with fluttermoth. Not a good plan. Just bring the temp up to 26/27, wrap the tank up and hope for the best.

ok will do. Am going to have to drain some of the water thats in there or my tank will be too full, is that going to stress them?

they will be stressed already so draining a little water won't change very much. Do you have a syphon? That's the least stressful way to do it

Got a heater, messaged a guy selling one on ebay and collected it. Now have cherry barbs doing a sun dance around there new coal fire lol. Thank you everyone for your help x
