New Set-Up For My Sorority, Ideas...

Hi all,
I'm changing around my sorority because i dont feel its full enough and nearly all my girls have a few nips in there fins, unfortunately im not going the pet shop any time soon as my mums not well but is there anything else i could add to the tank? I like the idea of getting branches and putting them in there and having lots of brances just randomly planted so the fish can swim in and out of them. But i need more ideas, things that can be found in a forest that would be good or hand making things. Any ideas?

Putting more wood in is a good idea I think, it'll help break up the tank and distract them Gotta make sure that their smooth for fins but it should be fine, I'm not sure about types of wood however, And it might need to be sanded / soaked.

Thanks for the reply rezz, i found some good branches in the woods ive sanded them down so there smooth and there soaking in the bath in boiling hot water.
I think theyll add some style to the tank lol!
Will post pics when ive got the new set up which will be in a few hours.

Hi Jasmine,
thats a great idea, i've just upgraded Jack from a 20l to a 35l and its looking a bit bare, dont think branches would suit him tho, he has such long finns, I swear they are still growing!!! gonna get some more plants tomorrow

oj yh that sounds fine. just make sure that the bark has started to fall of natrually or is just flaking of when you touch it but if it is one with all the bark on you need to let it dry out for about 2 years.
