New Set Up But Cloudy

I filled a 260l tank yesterday with the hose from outside, filter is running (has been since last night) but the water is cloudy, it's not from the substrate though I don't think, it's not that sort of cloudy, it's cloudy as if there was a haze or smoke in there, any ideas?

Does anyone know? I need to put the fish and established media in, can I?

Maybe a daft question, but did you thoroughly clean the tank glass? Often you get left with a film on the tank surfaces. If its not that, then did you rinse the media in the eheim before setting it up? If its neither of those, gotta be the substrate??

I think it's a film on the tank surfaces you know, the glass does seem a bit filmy like, what is that? Is it harmful?

Its a used tank isnt it? Do you know what they used to clean it? Could have used something like household cleaning products that would leave a residue. Or it could just be a normal filmy build up in most tanks that they havent cleaned at all.

They didn't clean it, they just emptied it, I'm guessing it's a bit of hard water left over then, I could have worked this out for myself, what a plonk lol
