Done this today ! Took me ages !

Ditched the black gravel and went for sand , excuse the plants had to stick them in anywhere as the misses wanted them out of the sink !

This is when i bought the tank

And some my fishies!

Going out today to grab some black paint for the back of the tank.

Also can anyone advise on some lighting ? at the minute there is just one 36" T8 at 30watt ive seen some bulbs at the range for plants but im not sure if they will be much brighter at 36 watt but is specifically says for plants.

Also how do i go about adding more lights in the lid and/or upgrading to t5's?

that looks good, but in the first and last picture is that pcu or piranha? aksi try some carpeting plants around the cave. sorry but i can't help about the lights

It's a silver dollar , came with the tank . I'm trying to rehome him but no one seems to want him

hey nice tank there love the split in the middle with gravel and sand , do you have any cory's if not you must get some will love the sand in there sorry i cant help with lights either

oh and 4th picture from the bottom what type of fish is it as i want one haha? love the colour of it
