New Rosy Red Minnow With Ripped Fins

So I just got 2 Rosy Red Minnows from the pet store. When I was examining them, I noticed one of them had about 3 ripped fins. His fins shows no signs of fin rot. He seems fine, he's eating, but he's kind of cowering (but still actively swimming) near the bottom. What should I do? What could have caused this?

If he seems fine don't do anything. Instead when you do a water change be sure to add a conditioner that adds a stress coat to your fish ( stress coat + or Prime).
