Somewhere else, as I am banned...
I am currently leaning towards believing this little fellow is a burrfish rather than another porcupinefish (still Family Diodontidae) but with the space to grow him out, we just couldn't leave him in the shop.

He is currently about 1" at the moment, so has plenty of growing to do before we see how he gets on in the bigger tank.

So without further ado, the pictures!:

On the pic above you can really see the spikes which come out from just above the eyes. :D

There was also a baby porky even smaller than this one, their eyes just look huge at this age!

awww funny looking little fella

hehe, his eyes are bigger than his body.
Should look amazing when he's grown a bit.

Looks sweet mate I would say its a tiny Chilomycterus schoepfi is that what you was leaning towards r did you think it was the Chilomycterus antillarum although at 1" long it would be very hard to tell the difference.

I had only really narrowed it down to the Chilomycterus genus. The differences between many of the species from there are, as you say, somewhat difficult to tell on such a small specimen.

Superb, ive often had the urge to set up a marine FO to keep one of these guys.
