Very slow growing. To form a carpet effect with the right conditions i believe can take around 6 weeks
Very slow? It only takes a month or two to grow a full carpet, sheesh. Maybe i'm just too patient
Java moss is a good choice, it can grow quite well in low light tanks. Here's a couple pics of our carpet:
For noobie/low light plants I would suggest Java Moss, Java Feran, Dwarf Sag, all different kinds of vals, amazon sword and anarchis.
