I just got alot of new plants from an online dealer and I was wondering how to kill ALL of the snail eggs and snails that might be hitchhiking. I've read that the chlorine dip is a last resort and might kill the plants, so is there any other way besides chlorine or potassium permanganate dip to get rid of the snails?

As a side note, I had to completely nuke my last tank becuase these translucent-shelled snails ate holes in my cryptocorynes and even the anubias, plus I had a terrible filamentous algae problem. So I'm starting anew hopefully without any snails to destroy my new plants. And yes, I've tried the search function. Thank you, I would really appreciate any help on this subject.
