hi all, very new to the world tropical fish but thought i'd have a go at a planted tank. i have a 40ltr (more tall than wide). the tank has been running for 3 weeks now. had the plants in for a week before i reluctantly has to take in 2 platys, 4 fry and then i found 4 3-4m fry of my own (long story behind this), also bought some cheery shrimp yesterday.
i have jbl substrate with gravel on top, a fluval u2 filter thats currently in the process of been seeded so the filter at the front will be going soon.
there are to many plants at the back which are going wants my tank is more established but for now they will do the job.
