New Planted Tank

hi im about to set up a new planted tank its going to be my first planted tank. i going to have a very steep slope and i was wondering what kind of substrate to make it up of. Im going to have the plant substrate on top should i make it up of more plant substrate of can i use sand or pebbles

you can find the right balance by mixing plant sub, sand, pebbles...all in all a good combo of sand to plant substrate is ideal, with maybe 10-20% pebbles

okay so what are the substrate leavals plant sub then sand. could you do pebles plant sub and then sand.
