Hello Im new to this site
I just wanted a little more info on a peacock spiny eel I have purchased. He is quite active, plays with the clown loach I have in the tank (clown loach has an inability to be nice to other clown loaches hence why he is a loner). Oh the tanks 3 foot. There are black neons in there I know he will eat them he not big enough though yet 4 inch long max.
Now I have live black worms, bloodworms and mosquito larvae when weather is warm enough. I put some sandy substrate in the tank although he doesnt seem interested in burrowing. It is heavily planted with many hiding spaces.
What else do I need to consider also is KH of 5-6 alright that is what the water he came in was I keep finding conflicting views.
