New Pair Of German Blue Rams

So i got two german rams yesterday from the LFS. They're doing great in my tank, one seems to be male and the other female. The male is very territorial and has been chasing the female, is this normal? i know they are chiclids so being territoral is normal but I just want to make sure

Females tend to have a pink tinge on their bellies and males are a little bigger with brighter colours.
It is normal for the male to chase the female, just provide plenty of plants and cover for her so she can get away and not become too stressed.
If you've got pics, we might be able to confirm that it is a male and female.

awesome, I just got a pair of Blue rams yesterday, defiantly a pair, they've already found a corner beside my drift wood to start digging in the gravel and call "home", so good thing are to come I hope. good luck with yours!
