New Orleans Aquarium Re-opening

Hey good news finally, looks like the Audubon Aquarium here in New Orleans is set to re-open on May 26th. I know it was really awesome before the storm. You guys should come visit me and check it out, and its only a couple of blocks down from Bourbon St.

Reading that article gives a little picture of the way the animals suffered and died. I couldn't imagine going in there once power was restored and trying to pick up the pieces of those massive tanks and all the dead creatures, searching for something alive! How tragic. I'm glad to see at least some things survived. It should be encouraging for you to go back and visit. I'd go if I didn't live so far! Goodness, that would be a trip.

I may be going back to New Orleans this summer. It's not decided yet but if I do, I'm definitely trying to go see the Aquarium again. I saw it last year in June and it was great.
