New Or Better Quality Secondhand Tank?

With limited funds I want to get a 4ft x2ft x 2ft tank for tropical freshwater fish. Should I buy new or second-hand and what points should I look out for? Any advice very much appreciated

I've had a few second hand tanks an Ive found you can get some really good bargains espesially ones that come with other bits and bobs

I would look around for a second hand one first, look out for are any leaks or chips.
