Hi,

First of all I would like to say Hi to all the members here.
Found this site by error really, but Im so glad I did as Im hoping to get some advice about my
little Cory's. They have just gone absolutley mental laying eggs all over the tank and I was hoping someone could give me to advice on how to look after then. Also I have not idea how long the eggs take to mature and little appear ! Can anyone help please, I would be most grateful to hear any advice anyone has.

Yours hopefully,

Jo.

Hi Jo and welcome

Corydoras eggs will develop over about 4-5 days and don't require any special attention. If there are other types of fish in the tank they might eat them but the adult cories don't normally bother.
When the eggs hatch you can start feeding the fry (baby fish) on liquid fry foods, infusoria and vinegar eels. After a couple of weeks they can have other types of food as well.

Hi Colin T,
Thanks so much for the advice, I have a community tank so lets hope some of the fry can survive the other fish when they hatch. Nice to see a reply from Oz BIG SMILE, I have a mate who live in Adelaide and we formed a friendship over 7 years ago (Ive visited to Oz twice since we met).
Here's to being friends ! I will get some food for the fry tomorrow and....live in hope ! lol.
Hope to speak again.
Jo :)
