New Member, Setting Up 20L Tank With A Few Fish And Plants.. Need Fi

This is my first tank in 20 years, back then I had a 20L with an Aquaclear, I only had 1 Jack Dempsey back then.

I just picked up a 20L tank at Petco for 20 bucks, I'm torn between Fluval or Marineland...

Penguin 200 VS Emp 280, would the 280 have too much flow for a 20G tank?

Fluval C2 VS C3, again i'm worried about having enough filtration, but not too powerful a filter as I will have smaller fish and plants.

I need some help...

Which brand of filter is better? Fluval C Series or Marineland Penguin or Emp?

20L and 20G are two very different things...

anything rated to filter 20-40 gallon tanks will be more than efficient. I wouldn't go too much higher though.

20L and 20G are two very different things...

anything rated to filter 20-40 gallon tanks will be more than efficient. I wouldn't go too much higher though.

20L is a 20 gallon long tank. It's 30 inches long by 13 inches wide and 13 inches tall. One of my favorite smaller tanks. I know it's confusing, you were probably thinking 20 liters.
