Hi everyone!

I just sent the admin of this forum an email, and thought I'd introduce myself here too.

The main reason I joined this forum is that I am getting a used tank for my goldfish tonight, but the tank comes with 5 tropical fish. An Angelfish and four small ones, the owner doesn't know what they are. I will see them in a few hours and take photos. I think he said they are orange and/or blue, and the size of a quarter.

Since I can't keep those fish with my goldfish, I need to find a new home for them. I want to give them away for free, to get them into knowing hands to take care of them. I live in Rock Hill, SC. So anyone interested let me know, and I will be taking photos of the fish later.

PS: this is not spam. I want to find a home for the fish, giving them away for free. So please no ZOMG SPAMMER comments. Thanks!

PPS: I have also already called all the local petstores, but no one takes fish.

What kind of angelfish is it? Would you be willing to ship it? I live in Indiana and if it's healthy I would take the angel =)

Honestly, I have no clue what type it is and what it looks like. As I said, I thought it was an unused tank until I talked to the guy on the phone today. He said it's an Angelfish the size of the palm of his hand. I'll ask him later how long he got it, maybe that helps determining the age of the fish. He said it was really little when he got it.

Shipping a fish... I have zero experience with that. I wouldn't MIND doing it of course though if I was reimbursed for the shipping and the shipping materials, since I doubt I can send it in a Ziploc bag LOL!
So someone would have to talk me through that.

Lol that sounds like it is a mature angel but thats ok. I'd like to see a pic if you're able..just to try and see what kind of condition it is in and what kind. As for shipping..I have no idea either xD I know essentially how they are shipped..but not how you go about doing that..but I bet someone on the forum could help us with that. If it's not unreasonable then I can definately reimburse you..but again it really depends on what type and if it looks healthy

If this is too much trouble I understand, but I really am interested and would really like to see a picture =) I'm trying to breed my angels and was debating about adding another.

AH, never mind about the fish. My hubby decided to keep them :D The Angelfish is one of the silver ones with a few vertical dark brown/black stripes. A female. But yeah, we're keeping them. I hope you find what you are looking for though! :)
