Hi, must say "Great website!!" Just wanted to say a quick hello! This is a pic of my tank after switching to sand from gravel after reading the "gravel Vs. sand" topic last Sat. Will post more info on set-up soon.

I can't tell very well because of the lighting, but what fish do you have in there? They seem to be fairly active and happy together.

Hi Alex to the forum The Tank Looks good like the arrangement of stones and slate but did you file down the sharp enges on the slate, could do with a bit of greenary

Hi Ami, I have 6 x Neon tetras, 1 x clown loach, 3 x bala sharks, 3 x black neons, 4 x gouramies, 4 x tiger barbs and a few other tetras. All get along great!! Changing my 2ft tank for a 4ft tank soon!!

Hi Ivan, I havn't filed down the sharp edges on the slate, they were large natural stone paving slabs that I broke up and shaped them for the back of the tank. They are not sharp at all. Although the pic may look like they are. Going to get some greenery in there soon too. Did have live plants in there when I had gravel but I found them hard to control, they were growing too quick for me!! Going to go back to artificial plants (low maintenence!)
