Hi, to everyone I am a new fish keeper(is that the correct term) I have read through many forums and found yours to be the most informative and friendly so decided to join. I have a new tank a Fluval 240 fully cycled (fishless cycle done) and have added my first fish over the last three weeks. I currently have 12 Zebra Danios and 6 mollys (5 female , 1 male). Have different thoughts every day about what to add next, I am currently using a site called aq advisor for stocking and filtration levels and wondered if any members had experiance of this site and its accuracy. Any help appreciated :)

:hi: to the forum. Yep, fishkeeper is the right term, or 'aquarist' if you want to be a bit more impressive ;)

We don't trust any 'stocking sites'; there are just too many variables to take into account, although they can be useful as a rough starting point.

You're far better off posting here with the things you like, and the other members will soon let you know if they're suitable or not!

Thankyou for the very fast response. In addition to what i have stated above I am thinking of adding 6 albino cory cats,16 neon or cardinal tetra and 4 ghost shrimp. Would this be ok? as my first venture into fish keeping trying to keep to fairly easy fish to keep.

That sounds like a nice stocking. Leave the neons until last, as they don't like newly set up tanks, even when they're properly cycled.
