Hey Nick, any new updates on the tank! I recon its about time that we had another set of photos. Its a pitty about baby Jesus but these things happen!!!! :fun:

Well theres a lot happening and I feel like I`m struggling to be honest , the cycling is going well I`ve now had my Nitrite Spike earlier in the week and the ammonia seems to get processed very quickly so should be a week and a half away from being cycled.
On the down side there is some very bright green algae that has appeared on the rocks and sand which is spreading not exactly sure what it is but a few people have suggested BGAlgae/Cyanobacteria, I`ve read about it I think to start with I need to try and clean as much up as possible and maybe thin the sand out as it`s a bit deep in places.
Also yesterday evening I saw some tiny worm things in the water about 5-8mm long and extremely thin I think this is planaria which doesn`t sound too harmful but I don`t like it. Both things seem to be down to having a "dirty" tank which I can`t really help with it being mid cycle.

Any help or suggestions are welcome !

Nick

Its been twelve days nick, I think its about time for an update, don't mean to pressure you, well really I do mean to pressure you!!!! Hope all is going well?

Everything seems to be fine-ish Tank is Cycled but there are still some Planaria "things" in the water but after a lot of reading they seem to be harmless and often appear in cycling tanks and I`m sure will go once fish are introduced, I got back off Holiday today and intend to finalise the rockwork and get some fish in next week all going well.

I`ve heard there are some quality tank bred yellow labs available ? :D
