this is the ingredients list :good:

Selected spirulina, white fish meal, wheat flour, wheat-germ meal, brewers' dried yeast, soybean meal, shrimp meal, dehydrated alfalfa meal, carotene and noiro spora germ thiamine. Riboflavin supplement.

no good?

can u recommend me some good brands id like to make sure i have everything sorted before i even order the fish :D

Actually, since the first ingredient is Spirulina and most of the rest are grains or beans, I think it's fine. Another good brand is New Life Spectrum cichlid formula, Hikari's Excel formula is good, and just plain spirulina pellets of most brands will work. I'd stick with pellets, flakes work with juvies, but they seem to be a little too messy for adults IMO. You can supplement their diet fresh veggies too.

thanks dthoffsett as always u have been a star :good:

ok had a bit of a re-think and is it possible to switch Pseudotropheus lombardoi and Pseudotropheus Elongatus for Melanochromis auratus and Pseudotropheus zebra(blue) :good:

I don't think the p.zebra will be a problem, but I'd be careful with the auratus. I've heard some horror stories about them even in large tanks, if you decide to go with them, be sure to get only 1 male.

Mojo,
I'd really re think that decision if i was you. Melanchromis Auratus is the most agressive fish ive ever seen, and sometimes it can occur like a sudden psychopathic rage. Ive personally seen one destroy my friends tank: he basically went from a tank with mbuna to an auratus tank and turfed the auratus. Ive seen a male shred a females tail back to the bone and part of the skin overnight and trust me its not pretty. Really agressive little hooers, so id recommend avoiding them unless you want an auratus tank.

Good luck.

ok i dont want that ill scrap the auratus i'll go back to Pseudotropheus lombardoi thanks again all :good:
