Definate improvement, loads better.
Maybe place the rocks so they don`t form a line at the front and form maybe a more natural rock slide effect ?

the rock i have is a bit too chunky for that maybe soon i will get some smaller bits and try it but for now im actually quite happy with it for the moment

So much better, only one coment though (only because i have the same tank and im picky ) i used juwel black bark backgrond the stuff you put inside the tank it stop the glare from the back of the tank and it really does make a huge difference.

Just a quick edit.

I made a few alterations to my hood you may be interested in. I added seperate light swithes and moon lights and it all fits in the hood with no wires hanging about, looks like it should be there. Let me know if your interested.

hi yes i would be very interested ive wanted to have the blue light on in the evenings aswell as the day and with a seperate switch ill be able to have it on at the same time and after the power glo goes out?

if you could tell me how to do this it would be fantastic

oh and the edit is

with a jewel back ground how would i be able to use that and have my external filter on the back aswell? and can you add it with the water and fish still in the tank?

Im back home tuesday so i will post some pics , all i have done is seperated the 2 ballasts in the lid and switched the lives. pics will be easier to explain.
