When I first setup my tank, my mbunas were babies so swimming space was not an issue. Now that they are big I had to rearrange the tank for a little more leg room.
Tell me what you think. I don't have a very still hand when taking pictures so this is the best one I could get. I will eventually have a black background and sides.
You will notice not all the fish are mbunas, the parrot was not my choice, the JD was and is perfect, the jewel is about 9+ years old.
I had a parasite issues and lost 4 mbunas
I have 4 yellow lab fry in a 5 gallon growing up to replace them
I also have a select few I want to special order some day soon.
Before, about 7 months? ago. Notice the size of the plant then. It grew 3 times the size in 7 months. That plant I had in my 30 gallon for about 6 years? Also after the pick below I had a bunch of rocks on the left and right and the plant was in the middle of the tank. To bad I don't have a pic of it right before I moved everything around. o well.
You also see the E-blue and notice there is NO OTHER fish swimming around. Wonder why? Its amazing how many fish can hide in a few spots
That spot where the e-blue is, is where he always was until I got rid of him.
