Miss Dib Dabs
Loony.
It's been a very long time since I came on this site. Good to see it's still going strong.
I set up a new 6ft tank last weekend and moved over my malawi's to their new home. Their filters went with them. It wasn't until I'd completed this that I realised just how many fish there were in the smaller tank!! They seem to love their new home and spend a great deal of time out in the open. I will put some pics up shortly for you to see.
My problem is this. I find I need to clean the tank glass almost daily!! I am assuming my substrate has something to do with this. It's been a while since I've put all new substrate in any tank and the catfish do a great job of throwing it around....constantly. I can't risk larger substrate since the catfish may damage their 'whiskers' and the malawis love to excavate. Is there anything I can do?
It's just so frustrating to see grubby glass.
