I didnt realize cam was crooked pics until after, please excuse angle

I am thinking of retrying the micro sword across the front. Foreground plants have been to hard to come by that i like or choose so will be tough to find over the next few weeks.

will post a pic of backgound plants at full height in a few weeks. Hopefully my lillies will be going by then if not then will move one from another tank over to take up some space on the right hand side.

P.S. Algae is down alot in last few weeks as compared to a few months ago. Still have some thread algae and some green hair algae on bogwood, but overall tank is now 75+% algae free. Switched up some ferts which i hope will help and added a more secure CO2 which should also help.

yes I know the wood in front seems a bit overboard, but with some good forground plants in front i think it will even out nicely, especially if my lilly's bloom on the right.

nice. is that diy co2 going into the ladder?

for foreground try dwarf hairgrass.

yes it is a DIY on the left, the right is a Red Sea Turbo Co2 system.

I like it

One request, could you resize your pics so we can see the whole photo on screen. Its hard to get a good idea of the whole tank when you have to scroll. Sorry to be picky. Nice tank tho!

Nice, you have some very healthy looking growth!

If I could give you some advice, I'd suggest that you do something to blend the fore/mid/background change.

At the moment your fore- and midgrounds seem very flat, and the background is very tall and creates a wall-like look. You can try various lengths of stems and create a convex or concave look to your tank.

Also, I've found it very beneficial to place a piece of wood in the tank that extends from the back sloping downward toward the mid ground. Then decorate the wood with moss/anubias/java fern. It helps to define the depth of the tank.

Good luck and if you have any questions ask away!
