New krib and a pair now :)

so I posted a bit ago about my wonderful new kribs, well the female got chased around by the male a lot and was always hiding then I found her on the bottom breathing heavy one day (2 days ago) and move her to iso well yesterday went to the fish store and found a beautiful new female:

and took them about 20 minutes to pair up:

and have already built a cave (ironically instead of chosing the nice big cave wood on the left of the tank they chose to dig a small version of a cave under the overhand on the right side of the little piece of wood on the right....

so that's my new fish story for a while more pics soon as I am expecting babies from these two shortly lol

how do you sex kribs?

the way you sex kribs is the same as most all dwarf cichlids. The male has a more pointed dorsal fin and anal fin, the female has a more rounded dorsal and anal fin. The females also tend to be larger and have more color, the females also get a nice red belly during breeding.

kribs are so great. those are one of the better one's i've seen. nice tank too btw, I like the layout.
