No matter how often I tried I had gas escaping from my plastic lid and the amount of time I have tried to reseal it was unbelievable so my dad got out a whole load of old wine making equipment. The set-up looks much better and is completely sealed without silicon. There is also a whole load of other stuff which will make change overs and such like so much easier. I have my doubts as to how good the yeast culture will be after so much moving but we will see. I have also got a KH test cheap on ebay so I will soon now exactly how much CO2 is in the water. My DUpla test still says the CO2 levels are insufficient but it is only a matter of time I hope
