Hi, I have ich in my 21g and 55g. :S

I purchased some ich medication from my local fish store, it is called "NOX-ICH" BY WECO products INC..
It has 0.5% sodium chloride and 0.5%malachite green. It is 946mL total and treats 14,400 gallons and was only 20$.

It says use 1/2 dose for tetras and bottom fish (corries).

Half a dose = 1/2 teaspoon per 75 gallons.

Is this a good medication?

I am concerned about my plants too, I thought reducing the lighting during treatment would be a good idea, anyone agree or disagree?

Also, I am treating my 21g with kanaplex antibiotic for fin rot on my corries, will this ich med be ok with the antibiotic too?

I should add; my water chem is good. I allways have ammonia and nitrite <0.1ppm and nitrate 5-10 ppm, ph=7.1 KH = 100; I am confused why I got ich and fin rot with "good" water.....

Thanks so much for any help....
