[The Haunt]

Uh. So! I was just checking around this site and it seems very interesting. :] Anyways, I'm The Haunt. I like James Bond (although I only particularly like the ones with Pierce Brosnan in them) and I don't have any fish tanks yet but my sister does. I know a bit about tanks though from my sis as she constantly talks about her guppies or whatever, so I probably can help around a bit. Not sure though. You guys are so experienced! xD

Heh. Hewwo! :] I dunno, I just wanted to learn some more about fish before thinking about getting any tanks of my own. ^^ My sister's bettas look nice. And her guppies. She bred the guppies but is giving them up to the store soon. They grow so slow! I remember one day she ran downstairs with a cup screaming "LOOK! IT'S A BABY FISH!" It was amusing. :] And the baby frys are so cute!

Another useful resource here on Tff is the fish species index here it gives you a basic idea on the needs of specific species and sub species not everything is there but the vast majority are

I'll look, thanks. :] And I already looked there. There are some nice pictures of fish tanks! But I only looked at one topic so I'm not quite sure what else there is out there. xD I've seen my sister's tanks but she's lazy and doesn't clean them that often, so they usually have a bit of algae here & there.

It's actually good to have algae in your tank. It shows that there is good healthy life there! Yeah, I understand though when the tank is overrun it is gross. Algae is important to have in your tanks.

Of course you know there are different types of Algae are they all important ?

Wouldn't black and green algae be considered bad? I just thought about when my sister had algae in her tanks and she went on and on about how green algae is bad. Then she and my Mom did an 100% water change.
