Hi!

I've been searching around for a forum for the last couple of hours, and decided this might be a nice one to join.

I've kept small aquariums in the past - mostly 20 to 30 gallons, but it's been a few years since my newly adopted four year old decided to dump a whole box of fish flakes in my last aquarium. Now, she's as excited as I am about our new aquarium and I'm pretty sure she'll be a big help. Hubby's excited, too.

We just set up a 60 gallon Marineland aquarium. Well, it has rocks and water and a few fake plants for the time being. I know it's going to be a long time before it looks like anything I'd be proud to show!

Hope to learn a lot here.

Welcome to TFF! I had a nephew dump a whole container of flakes in a tank years ago, I feel your pain on that one. Kid's bigger than I am now, that was quite a while back.

60 gallon is a nice size, there's a lot you can do with a tank that size. Look around, feel free to ask any & all questions, that's why we're here!
