Hi everybody long time reader first time poster here. The tank I currently have is 4' x 2' x 1.5'. What does this convert into in gallons? In there at the moment I have 2 very healthy and happy looking red oscars (6" and 4.5"). I bought them from a shop that had about 20 oscars in a smaller tank and these two seemed to keep well clear of the rest and were always swimming around each other and looking cuddly so thats how i chose them. Also in the tank I have one 5" lepoard pleco and 2 giant freshwater snails. Is this enough for this sized tank or could I punt in another fish or 2? I'll post pics soon as I find my usb cable!

I wouldn't put more fish in there the oscars will eventually grow so large that there won't be much in there plus that and there isn't much that won't fit into an adult oscars mouth. it would be deadly for any other fish or if you were to get a fish that is more agressive because to be blunt oscars aren't really all that agressive when compaired to some of the central american cichilds that get to be about the same size. plus on that note oscars and many south american cichlids are slow growers again when compaired to central american cichlids.

well lets see if I can remember this right, my 75 US gallon tanks are 48"longx 18" widex 21 " high or something like that, so just guessing but I would probably say that your tank is somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 US gallons

89.77 US gallons

should be alright for a while
