oh and amazon tank wasnt made per say its a compnay cast item they atually went to south america found a good tree in a bank and took a cast. these have been around for over ten years but they are so expensive you rarely see them in tanks anywhere. (i got it so cheap that if i told you guys that tank with the background cost me less than £100 you'd hate me for it)

they are £4 each in all the stores round here. 11 quid sounds very expensive for an oscar!

i have to sell them for a quid each as the fish shop only pay 40p each for them so thats the most they will give me safe in the fact that mine are uk born and bred and the less travelling the better for the fish. they say they loose a lot less of mine too so it paves the way for me to continue.

11.99 for an oscar??? cant get over that

mine are about 5 inchs (not including tail) if you like those types check out 'uarus', 'orange head geophagus' and 'threadfin acara's' you'll love them im sure (ive tried to get the orange heads for 3 years now and no luck at all)

Hi all, i popped back after what? Six years? Great to see the forum looking so good. I sold everything in the end and now i dont even have a fish finger at home. I hope alf is still around? He went to a public aquarium in the end.

Now then seeing all my old tanks it looks like im going to have to re kindle my love and get a tank woth some cichlids in...
