new guy at my lfs

the other day i went to my lfs and this time i was served by a guy that i have seen before. we first went and got the plants and one of the plants i got was an amazon sword and he went on for like 5 minutes about how to plant it and how most of the plants in the shop were non aquatic. Then i asked what fish were good with serpae tetras and gouramis(i no stuff about pretty much all the fish in the shop exept im no good with compatibility) at then he went thru all the tropical tanks in the shop telling me what would be good and what wouldn't with my fish. in the end we were there 4 like half and hour coz he then told me everything about the fish i eventually chose.
