ok so this is my first post :good: and im about to get around three guppies-probably two female and one male. i've done some researching about them and i just want some tips and info about taking care of them (feeding, fry, temperature, water changes etc). thanks! any help will be appreciated!

Have you cycled the tank they will be staying in?

They will be fine in 72 to 86 degrees temp. Feeding on flake food and the occasional frozen food like blood worm. They can drop fry quite regular if having males and females. You can feed the fry fine crushed flake food.

You should be doing water changes roughly once a week / two weeks. But this depends on if you have cycled the tank or not?

I find 68f-70f is the best temp- for them guppy's are less except-able to diseases when kept at low temps most people keeping guppies at higher temps seem to have more problems then when kept at a lower temps
lower temps are far better i have never kept any guppies above 74 and have never had any problems with them.

Tips
Temperature, keep them at about 74f – degrees

Water changes
40%-50% once a week or 2 weeks never change more then 50% at any one time .
Fry I find it best to do a water changes of 10%-20% for the first 3 weeks

Feeding,
guppies will except all flake food.s frozen blood worms.are good for them.
It is best to add some live foods in there diet .
Fry crushed flake it is best to start them on live foods like baby brine shrimp
/ microworm

thanks SchottayB and fish48!! i got two guppies yesterday- one male and one female. so far they're doing well, i dont see any signs of illness or anything  and the male is like really attracted to the female, though i dont think he's harrasing her that much. i have a 25 watt heater in there plus a elite mini filter.i feed them some vegetable flakes and freeze-dried bloodworms the next day. i can see the gravid spot on the female, and im not sure if she's pregnant or not =\
