New grow out tank

I just bought a 54L aquarium for raising the fry and was wondering if it was a bad idea to put in my false flying fox for algea control or should I just let a lot of tiny ramshorn snails run riot?

It should be fine, they don't get on with there own kind that well.

That I do know! I had two Foxes and the larger one harrassed the little guy something fierce, so Captain Meany went to another home. I was not sure if the fox would pose a threat to Swordtail fry.

I wouldn't think so but they do like to play with other fish.
