Got home from work and found i have 3 gold sunset platy fry!

Spotted a couple of dead ones, they've been removed.

Well chuffed! My fishing are dropping fry like there's no tomorrow!

Sorry to hear about the dead ones though. Any idea what happened?

The male platy was harrassing her. So i'm assuming she's aborted some. Dave has now been moved to the main tank for the time being. Doris looks happier now.

Awww. Poor Mommy and babies. Usually if they abort fry, though, they don't give birth to live ones at the same time. But who knows. The fry just may have been stillborn. Or chased around and harrassed, or nipped on by other fish.

Love the names, though.

The fry seem to be ignored by the other fish. Saw one swimming near surface with Bella & Hilda.

Looks like Mavis & Maude may be dropping soo

All names chosen by my girlfriend, except Bella.
