I have a question..I'm new at the breeding game and I had another female Swordie give birth last night .. The question I have is do the other fry Swords that I have, which are all surviving and doing wonderful, are they going to eat the new fry I just had last night? :dunno: Should I wait a while before I put the new babies in with the 3 week old ones?? I'm not sure the new ones are going to make it they don't look done but there were about 10 of them... -_- Well, if anyone has an answer to my perplexing question I would appreciate it :D

Before tonight my last two fry batches were 16 days apart and they were fine together in the grow out. If the first batch is smaller then a neon they should be fine together but anything over the size of a neon is a potential fry eater.

Yes the older fry could eat the new arrivals, leave the new arrivals in the tank, most of them will survive if you have plenty of hiding spaces and plants, good luck.

Nope the old ones aren't quite that big yet.. I put the new ones in the tank this morning with the old ones and haven't seen any of the news ones since. They didn't look as good as the first batch (Different mom) but they didn't look as though they will make it  and that makes me very sad.....
